Soapology makes handcrafted artisan soap bars using the traditional cold process method. The range covers soap bars in various scents, shampoo bars and other haircare items. Home fragrance, bath bombs and liquid soaps are also available. Soap-making courses, workshops and taster sessions are offered through Soapology Studio.
All soaps are 100% natural and palm oil free. Only natural essential oils are used for fragrance, with no synthetic fragrance oils. Harsh ingredients such as parabens and silicones are avoided. Each bar is hand-poured in small batches and hand-cut, making it unique.
The company has been around since 2011 and is based in the Nottinghamshire countryside, with a studio in Farndon. It was founded by Emma Grosse, who is largely self-taught and also teaches soap-making. The family-owned business runs with a small team and sells wholesale to selected UK retailers. For every ten bars sold, one bar is donated to Framework, a charity supporting homeless and vulnerable people.
