Surestop manufactures emergency water isolation stopcock systems. The product is a switch-operated valve. It allows users to turn off their mains water supply instantly at the flick of a switch. This replaces the use of a traditional stopcock. The valve is available in multiple connection types and sizes.
The valve is water pressure-operated rather than electrical or battery-dependent. It can be installed in under an hour. A remote switch option is available up to four metres from the valve. This allows the switch to sit in an easy-to-reach location while the valve remains elsewhere. The product requires no maintenance and is WRAS approved for cold mains water. It complies with Building Regulations Approved Document M for elderly and wheelchair users.
Surestop is made in the United Kingdom and is based in Birmingham. It is part of the ADEY Group. The group also operates ADEY Commercial and Alpha Scientific. The wider group is involved in water treatment and filtration solutions for heating systems and commercial applications.
