CORGI HomePlan provides boiler cover and home emergency insurance. It offers four plans named Essentials, Starter, Advanced and Complete. These cover boiler breakdowns, annual boiler servicing and heating system repairs. Cover for pipes, drains and electrics can be added as an option. A 24/7 emergency helpline and unlimited callouts for breakdowns and repairs are included.
Work is carried out through a nationwide network of Gas Safe engineers. A sister company, CORGI HomeHeat, handles boiler replacement and installation. Boiler replacements come with up to ten years of parts and labour warranty. More than 165,000 customers have been served.
The CORGI name dates back to 1970, when it was established as a safety standard regulator. CORGI HomePlan launched in 2011 to provide assistance with heating breakdowns, servicing and home emergencies. In 2017 it became part of the OVO group, which brings together five brands. The group sets out an emphasis on fair pricing, customer service and environmental aims including zero-carbon living.
